How do I send a recognition?

In the options of a post or comment, tap Recognize and choose an illustration such as Care, Good vibes, Applause, Helpful, Amazing, Reflection, Cheers, Achievement, Diamond, Strength or Impact. You can add an optional message and send it anonymously. Each recognition uses pearls from your balance. Under View recognitions received, anyone can see which recognitions that content has received. The recipient can be notified.

What are pearls and how do I get more?

Pearls are the in-app currency. They are used to send recognitions and buy Consistency protections. In the Store, the daily chest can be opened once a day by watching an ad, or directly, with no ad, by Premium subscribers. The store also offers pearl packs, some with bonuses, purchased through your device’s app store. Your balance may take a moment to update after a purchase.

What is Empathy on Help My Mind?

Empathy is a symbolic representation of welcoming support, respectful listening and positive encouragement within the community. It appears on your profile. For security, integrity and abuse prevention, the internal criteria behind Empathy are confidential and not disclosed. Attempts to manipulate it, such as excessive reposting, break the rules. The best way to take part is still simple: be present, respect people and contribute with care.

Recognitions and pearls

Recognitions celebrate community contributions. Learn how to send them, what pearls are and how to use the in-app store.
