How do I delete my Help My Mind account?

In the app, go to Settings and privacy > Account settings > Delete account and confirm with your password. If you signed in with Google or Apple, you will need to authenticate again with the same provider. On the website, sign in to the account area, open Delete account, check the confirmation box and enter your password. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. What happens to my data and posts after deletion?

When you delete your account, your personal data, such as name, nickname, email, documents, gender, date of birth, photo and avatar, is removed or irreversibly replaced. Your password, sessions and trusted devices are invalidated. Posts and comments are not erased: they remain in the community in anonymized form, with the author shown as [Usuário Deletado] (Deleted User), with no link that identifies you. Some information, such as access logs, is kept confidential for the period required by Brazilian law (LGPD and the Marco Civil da Internet). The account cannot be recovered afterwards.
